About Brilliant Optoelectronic
Founded in March 2020, Zhejiang Brilliant Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise with proprietary OLED material development technologies. The company specializes in high-end intermediates and focuses on key functional layer materials for OLED displays—specifically, luminous layer materials (red, green, and blue), including host and guest materials, with a focus on thermally activated delayed fluorescence (MR-TADF) materials. Brilliant Optoelectronic sells its products directly to international OLED material manufacturers and major panel makers for use in AMOLED displays. The company is currently focused on evaporation materials while actively preparing for the next generation of display technologies, including printed OLED displays.
Targets & Goals
To address the evolving market landscape, enhance overall R&D efficiency, and strategically plan for next-generation materials, Brilliant Optoelectronic decided to implement a robust R&D information management system. After careful consideration, the company partnered with Neotrident Technology to deploy the iLabPower SaaS cloud-based Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN).
Our Solution
Compared to traditional localized deployments, the iLabPower SaaS cloud platform offers faster implementation, lower costs, and simplified operations and maintenance. With all system modules deployed on the cloud, the system became fully operational in less time and with reduced costs, providing an experience on par with localized systems.
Using the iLabPower PM project management system, Brilliant Optoelectronic refined its project management approach by breaking down tasks and milestones for each project, which helped minimize execution risks. Project information is automatically pushed to the ELN system, ensuring that all experimental records are linked to their respective projects, enabling project-centric data management. ELN’s experimental templates, cloning functions, mobile app, and other tools streamline the process of organizing experimental records, freeing frontline scientists from tedious data management tasks. Additionally, the built-in material and instrument management functions, along with instrument data analysis features, allow for the rapid input of frequently used materials and instrument data, further enhancing the efficiency of both R&D staff and laboratory management.
Through the use of electronic experiment recording, all R&D data is stored online in a structured format, laying the groundwork for the future reuse and value maximization of historical data.
